This position requires someone who has handled responsibility for Accounting Function in previous positions and who understands what it means to be responsible for meeting statutory deadlines. This person must be self-motivated and willing to take initiatives and be proactive in their style of management
Desired Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant ( Company Secretary will be added advantage)
- 4-6 years of post qualification experience to lead Accounting & Compliance Function to take care of:
- Overall Accounting of the Company As per India GAAP till finalization of Accounts as per Companies Act
- Take care of all Income Tax related matters like Correct and Timely Deposit of TDS, Filing of TDS and Income Tax Returns
- Knowledge of Transfer Pricing
- Liaison with Statutory and Tax Auditors for Statutory and Tax Audit of the Company
- Good knowledge of Service Tax, SEZ/STPI and Sales Tax
- Knowledge of statutory requirements as laid down by ROC like filing of Annual Return and other documents, conducting board meetings and finalization of Board Minutes
- Good team player

- Good English communication (written and spoken) skills
- Good knowledge of MS office applications including MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
